Peterborough has Best Rental Yields

A recent study by Haart estate agents shows that Peterborough is the best place in England to invest in rental property.

Their research investigated the average price of a property in different areas of England, both in terms of sales and lettings.  The best rental yields are achieved from 2 bedroom apartments in Peterborough, where the return is 9% per annum.  Just below are one bedroom apartments in Peterborough, with a yield of 8.7% per annum.

According to Haart, of all the regions in England, it is the East of England that offers the best rental yields.  The East Midlands and South Yorkshire take 2^nd and 3^rd, and London is down in 4^th position.
